## Overview

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

wifi: b43: enforce bounds check on firmware key index in b43_rx()

The firmware-controlled key index in b43_rx() can exceed the dev->key[]
array size (58 entries). The existing B43_WARN_ON is non-enforcing in
production builds, allowing an out-of-bounds read.

Make the B43_WARN_ON check enforcing by dropping the frame when the
firmware returns an invalid key index.

## Affected

- `linux_kernel >= 2.6.24, < 5.10.258`
- `linux_kernel >= 5.11, < 5.15.209`
- `linux_kernel >= 5.16, < 6.1.175`
- `linux_kernel >= 6.2, < 6.6.140`
- `linux_kernel >= 6.7, < 6.12.88`
- `linux_kernel >= 6.13, < 6.18.30`
- `linux_kernel >= 6.19, < 7.0.7`
- `linux_kernel = 7.1`

## Remediation

Upgrade past the affected range:

- `linux_kernel 7.0.7`
