## Overview

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ALSA: ctxfi: Check the error for index mapping

The ctxfi driver blindly assumed a proper value returned from
daio_device_index(), but it's not always true.  Add a proper error
check to deal with the error from the function.

## Affected

- `linux_kernel >= 2.6.31, < 6.19.12`
- `linux_kernel = 7.0`

## Remediation

Upgrade past the affected range:

- `linux_kernel 6.19.12`
