When deployed in stateless mode with MySQL or MariaDB, a mismatch in row-count semantics between the database driver and Keycloak's application logic allows an attacker to bypass replay protection. This vulnerability enables an attacker who intercepts single-use security artifacts, such as JWT client assertions, DPoP proofs, or one-time password (TOTP) codes, to replay them. Successful exploitation grants unauthorized access to the token endpoint or login flow.\n\n## Remediation\n\nRefer to the linked advisories for vendor-supplied fixes and affected version ranges.\n\n## Vendor advisories\n\n- **Red Hat VEX** · Important · updated 2026-09-22 · [vex](https://security.access.redhat.com/data/csaf/v2/vex/2026/cve-2026-90997.json)","depth":"twilight","depthScore":41,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":40.7,"likelihood":0.1,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[]}
