The subsequent\nsock_hold() therefore accesses freed memory if it was the final\nreference, as observed by KASAN during listening L2CAP socket cleanup.\n\nRetain the temporary queue-walk reference through unlink and hand it to\nthe caller on success. Drop it explicitly on the closed and\nnot-yet-connected paths.\n\n## Affected\n\n- `linux_kernel >= 5.10.259, < 5.10.261`\n- `linux_kernel >= 5.15.210, < 5.15.212`\n- `linux_kernel >= 6.1.175, < 6.1.178`\n- `linux_kernel >= 6.6.142, < 6.6.145`\n- `linux_kernel >= 6.12.92, < 6.12.96`\n- `linux_kernel >= 6.18.34, < 6.18.39`\n- `linux_kernel >= 7.0.11, < 7.1`\n- `linux_kernel >= 7.1.1, < 7.1.4`\n- `linux_kernel = 7.1`\n- `linux_kernel = 7.2`\n\n## Remediation\n\nUpgrade past the affected range:\n\n- `linux_kernel 7.1.4`","depth":"twilight","depthScore":44,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":44,"likelihood":0.1,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[]}
