Execution falls through to\nthe remainder of the function, which calls release_sock() and\nnfc_llcp_sock_put() again. This results in a double release_sock()\nand a refcount underflow via double nfc_llcp_sock_put(), leading to\na use-after-free.\n\nAdd the missing return statements after the LLCP_CLOSED branches\nin both functions to prevent the fall-through.\n\n## Affected\n\n- `linux_kernel >= 3.3, < 6.6.136`\n- `linux_kernel >= 6.7, < 6.12.83`\n- `linux_kernel >= 6.13, < 6.18.24`\n- `linux_kernel >= 6.19, < 6.19.14`\n- `linux_kernel >= 7.0, < 7.0.1`\n\n## Remediation\n\nUpgrade past the affected range:\n\n- `linux_kernel 7.0.1`","depth":"twilight","depthScore":48,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":48.4,"likelihood":0.1,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[]}
