Both are released only after THAW returns, so a THAW that dies leaves the whole decoded argument structure allocated.\n\nEach rejected document leaks data of a size the sender chooses, so a process that catches the error and keeps running exhausts its memory.\n\n## Affected\n\n- `Cpanel-JSON-XS < 4.80`\n\n## Remediation\n\nUpgrade to Cpanel-JSON-XS 4.80 or later.","depth":"sunlit","depthScore":3,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":2.8,"likelihood":0,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[]}
