Malformed UTF-8, control bytes and backslashes reach the decoded hash, while malformed UTF-8 and control bytes in a quoted key or a value are rejected.\n\nLater operations on the key, including lc, uc or encoding the hash again, die with a malformed UTF-8 error.\n\n## Affected\n\n- `Cpanel-JSON-XS >= 4.33 < 4.80`\n\n## Remediation\n\nUpgrade to Cpanel-JSON-XS 4.80 or later.","depth":"sunlit","depthScore":3,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":2.8,"likelihood":0,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[]}
